How does an Alpha session work?

​

An Alpha session lasts for 2 hours. You come for a meal, watch a short video, and share your thoughts on the talk with your table (who you will meet at the first session).  

 

During the discussion portion of the session, you can ask your table mates any questions you want. Your session host will ensure the discussion ends on time.

 

How long is an Alpha session?

 

Alpha usually lasts 10 weeks with a Holy Spirit Night or Day Away in the middle. 

 

How much does Alpha cost?

 

Great news! Alpha is free. We do share a full meal each week, so if you would like to make a donation we would be grateful. There will be a "Holy Spirit Night/Day" that may have a small cost per person. However, we never want money to prevent anyone from attending Alpha, so we've got you covered.

I am coming alone and don't know anyone. Is that normal?

​

Yes! Most people come to Alpha without knowing anybody else. By the end of Alpha, most people become good friends. Alpha is a great way to meet new people!

Do I have to talk and share my thoughts?

No! You never have to share.

Can I just ‘come and see’ for the first week?

​

Absolutely! Just register to let us know you’re coming. Anyone is able to register up until week 3. After that we would encourage you to check back for the start of our next Alpha course.

What if I go for a week or two and don’t want to continue?

​

At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge...promise!
